Typical Duties & Responsibilities
Verification of Financial Aid Files
Process and award Federal Pell Grant
Resolve overawards in student FA packages
Oversight [ certifying, awarding, reconciling, award adjustments, issue resolution reporting] of the following programs/processes
- Tennessee Student Assistance Award [TSAA]
- Federal Supplemental Opportunity Grant [FSEOG]
- Student Engagement Reporting
- Transfer Monitoring
Reporting to Federal and/or State Agencies
- 2 years of in-depth Financial Aid experience including verification, awarding, program information;
- Bachelor's degree;
- Experience with BANNER, COD, NSLDS, eGrands
- Ability to work independently and within team environment;
- Analytical thinking and ability to multi-task;
- Ability to present Financial Aid Information at various events.
