Title: Adjunct Health/Physical Education Instructor
Motlow State Community College is seeking Adjunct Faculty to teach day and evening Health/Physical Education classes. Adjunct Faculty are part-time temporary Instructors who may teach no more than 12 credit hours per semester and are hired on a per semester basis. Adjunct Faculty must possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. The primary responsibility of adjunct faculty is to provide quality instruction for the students. In addition to teaching, the minimum faculty responsibilities to the college include the following: preparing course materials, preparing course outlines, reporting attendance at the beginning of the semester, and submitting grades at the end of the semester. Adjunct Instructors are also responsible for making students aware of academic resources.
Requirements: A Master's degree in Health or Physical Education or a Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of the qualifying fields from a regionally accredited institution by the appointment date. (Note: qualifying fields include Health, Nutrition, Physical Education, and Wellness.)
